Meet Adria/Josh's 4th

We finally were able to meet Adria in June. My niece and the girls new cousin. She is so cute.

we were able to get all the kids together for the first time...it was so nice. This is the girls and all their cousins on MY side of the family!

At the party Uncle Jonathon got a great picture of me and Chey...I simply LOVE it!

God did it....

Today Nana Pink was talking to Chev. She told her she was so pretty and they should change her name to Cinderella because she is just so pretty. Nana asked her how she got so pretty or why she was pretty

her response "God made me that way"

Once again we dont get credit for it...but it sure was cute!!! :)

i'm behind

not just slightly behind..but like really behind on updating. I had two weeks off. I figured I could update...WRONG. so bear with me...there will be many to come!!!

Swimming at the Y

Chev started swim lessons at the Y a few weeks ago with Aunt Lay-Lee. I went to my first one with her last week. I can honestly say she is definitely a beginner. Seeing as how she choked every time she went to blow bubbles in the water...but I was as proud of her as I have ever been. She did so good. She still wont get up and go to swim everyday but she has been going a few times a week.

GBGBGB Night

Last Wednesday my mother in law threw together a big bingo night at the DAV. The reason for the festivities....she was getting her gall bladder removed the next day. All together there were 8 of us. We had more junk food then most of us would care to admit, but we had a great time. A lot of the people at the DAV take Bingo way more serious then I ever hope to. We were shushed by many. Well mainly one old lonely lady with no friends with her. My mom was the only winner in our group that night. Its ok...at the end of the night we were all in good company, full of good junk food, and full of lots of laughter.

I am thrilled to say that Nancy's gall bladder surgery went well. I took them dinner when they got home from the hospital. She is in some pain but in good spirits.

finally....lots of hair

I love my bald babies...ok not bald but definitely lacking thick long hair. Chevs hair has gotten so long and thick out of no where...well its thickening. I love it. Its so curly and so pretty. and I LOVE when she lets me do it in a pony tail or pigtails...she so dang cute!....

and yet another episode of kids say the darnest things.

This summer Chev has decided that shorts are a thing of the past. Its all about the dresses...Which I LOVE. I love little girls in dresses...nothing is cuter!

Yesterday morning I told Chev to pick out a dress to wear. She picked this cute orange one daddy bought her that has two SMALL bows on the front of the straps.

me: "Chevlynn make sure the bows go in the front"

Chev: inspects dress to find bows, turns bows to the front, steps into dress

me: "oh, you step into that dress? you dont pull it over your head?"

Chev: "NO mommy. if i pull it over my head it will break my dress because my head REALLY big!"

me: "IT IS???"

Chev: "yes and if i pull it over my head my brain might come out!!"

me: laughing "REALLY??? your brain might come out?? where did you learn that"

Chev: "from me!"
